Our clients recently introduced a new exciting range of baked products from The Bakehouse based locally in Apsley, an artisan independent bakery business producing croissants, cruffins, Danish pastries, brownies, tarts, cakes, savoury delicacies and more! Many of the products are gluten free or vegan, which fits perfectly into the ethos of coffee & wine.

Coffee add-on sales could also be increased through introducing more savoury options. There is high demand for sourdough pizzas in this area and introducing a new pizza oven could potentially add a further 20% to current turnover levels. Introducing cold choices such as summer salads or seasonal confectionery lines would also benefit the business.

Our clients have hosted several wine tasting evenings for groups of up to 12 and have identified a huge gap in the market for people seeking advice and education on wine in the Boxmoor and Hemel Hempstead area. This part of the business could be grown with more regular events to drive wine sales.

There is an alcohol licence for both on and off sales in place for daytimes from Sunday to Thursday, and later evenings until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
