Description

Hilton Smythe welcomes to the market Talisker Inn & Restaurant. The business was originally established in 1964. Our clients took over the pub in 1986 and are now looking to sell the business, due to the desire to take a well-deserved retirement.

The business runs as a pub, selling an excellent range of world wines and beers. The pub doesn’t currently offer food, however, this is an option that would be highly welcomed. The premise is large and includes a bar, restaurant space, games room, beer garden, owner’s accommodation and outer buildings. This is a great opportunity for a purchaser looking to relocate to Forth.

Although the business is currently turning over a healthy figure there is huge scope to boost this figure. The new owner could look to utilise the outer space. Letting rooms and holiday cottages would be great in this area, there are options to build on the space at the back of the property, subject to the relevant planning permissions.

The property benefits from different rooms. There is the main bar area, this is open plan and there is also the restaurant space, this is separate from the main bar and comes with an additional bar. This is perfect for private functions and should be something the buyer looks into expanding. The games room would also be great for hosting team events; this should boost repeat loyal trade.

Above the property is a two bedroom owner’s accommodation. There are two large double rooms, perfect for letting out, if this space is not required by the purchasers.

This is a fantastic opportunity that is not to be missed. Hilton Smythe highly advise early viewing to take in the full potential of the trade.
